BACHGROUND RESEARCH

[STRICTLY PUBLIC]

In relation to the international Media Art Festival Transmediale 04 the artist group STRICTLY PUBLIC organized for one month a video art screening on the larges outdoor LED screen in Berlin. Mirjam Struppek was commissioned in January 2004 by the artist group to undertake a questionnaire with passers by, analyzing their reception. www.strictlypublic.de

At the outset of 2004 the art group STRICTLY PUBLIC projected video art on Berlin’s largest outdoor LED screen. Is there any way that video art can encounter spectators in a public space?

Video installation pilot project, Amsterdam

In co-operation with the city of Amsterdam’s Zuidas Project Bureau, the Zuidas Virtual Museum, SKOR and Faircom are planning a permanent video screen installation for cultural programming at the Zuidplein, on Amsterdam’s South Axis.
